You know if you are wired up properly if you press F2 and it tells you what console you have.

^^Make sure you have your console plugged into the power brick but not turned on and check your connections and soldering it's usually caused by bad soldering or missing earth connection (Yellow wire). You know if you are wired up properly if you press F2 and it tells you what console you have.
Also make sure the wires are on the correct points and that yellow is soldered to the correct point or another ground source (AV ports, Chassis, etc)

How did you figure that out that if you press F2 it shows what console so if I have a jasper and idk what size it is it will tell me?

It's common knowledge about F2. And if you have a Jasper you just need to know if it's a 16mb or 256mb / 512mb, which you can tell too by going into System / Memory and see if it has an internal memory unit, if it doesn't it's a 16mb, if it does it's one of the others and it really doesn't matter which when it comes to flashing the nand as the 256mb / 512mb files are the same.

I thought you can't read your nand? Why are you creating a ECC?ok so I have done everything but I'm worried about when I clicked write ecc it made the sound immediately it didn't load anything and now my power has just an orange light but won't turn on
If you already read your nand, And wrote the ecc your xbox WON'T BOOT until you wire up the glitch chip.
The ecc was just written to the first few bytes of the nand, it needs the chip wired before it will boot for you.

If you have 4 good nand dumps then after clicking on create ecc click on write ecc, solder the glitch chip to the motherboard, program it if you have to and boot the console to get the cpu key. When I had installed the nand-x wires and then plugged it into Nand-x and I had read the nand-x 4 times they were all the same then I clicked the button to the right of create ecc and it said ecc file needed so I immediately thought to click create ecc

No need to use another program, j-runner is the easiest option.Do I have to create a ecc file with a different program or can I use j-r programmer to create it
